Luí and Larissa are two young Brazilian Zouk teachers from São Paulo. With an organic and innovative approach, they promote studies that contribute to Brazilian Zouk reaching new levels.
They have been studying social couple dances since 2012 and in 2015 they focused their specialization on Brazilian Zouk. In 2019, they enrolled in their first international tour to teach in the United States and Europe.
They are world renowned for their teaching skills. Focusing on non-choreographic methods, their classes follow a constructivist model, where learning takes place through individual discovery. In their classes, L&L prioritize the sharing of tools, which allow dancers to express their individuality, while connecting to their partner and the culture of Brazilian Zouk.
In their dancing, they are recognized for exploring the codes of Zouk in a profound way, and for their harmony and dance connection.
Their main teachers were Charles Matias, with whom they took their first steps in Zouk, and Rubia Frutuoso, as members of their dance company.
Among their various theoretical studies are topics such as counterbalance, frame and connection, head movements and time distribution of the steps. Resulting in technical discoveries that are shared with joy and passion.
Their mission is to contribute to a happier and more empathetic society through art. They work to spread what they learn with lightness and love.

We like that you tell us what you're going to do, then show us, then have us try it, then provide insights. And at the end of each class, you hold a questions and answer portion. That's really good to keep your main lecture uninterrupted. You two are also a lot of fun to watch, and Vanessa keeps saying that she likes your vibe. I agree! But she's Brazillian, so I'm suspicious. Hahaha!”
